In Fall '23, I took EPS 7: Introduction to Climate Change. In one of the online lectures, Professor Romps mentioned wanting someone to make him an app that converted the more commonly used Faranheit and Celcius measures in weather reporting, into Kelvin. Here's the app :)
Kelvin is used by scientists to measure temeprature. Kelvin measures the vibrational activity of thermal energy. Absolute 0 reflects the total asbence of thermal energy, where molecules are completely still-- other points in the Kelvin scale are based off that. This is different to Celcius and Fahrenheit; 0 degrees Celcius is placed at the freezing point of water, while the same temperature equals 32 degrees Faranheit.
